Abstract

This article on institutional history attempts to present the evolution, from 1898 to 1945, experienced by the Andorran Head of State, whose two-headed leadership is represented by the Bishop of the Seu d'Urgell and the President of the III French Republic. Some institutional problems which arose from 1931 to 1939 are also discussed. Special attention is paid to the evolution in the period, object of study of the administration of justice, with the different instances of the Tribunal of the Battles, the Court of the Appeal Judge, the Supreme Court of the Mitra, and the French Supreme Court.
