Abstract

This work tries to analyze the founding work of Lucio Tarquino Prisco. We propose that he was a historic king that reorganized Rome and left its federation of people feature behind to turn it into a real city. In order to achieve the aforementioned, he reformed the Senate, restructured the curias and tribes and introduced imperium as power.
